Ronald D. Burch

Ronald D. Burch, 77 of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away August 30, 2015, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.He was born, May 25, 1938, in Belpre, Ohio, a son of the late Harley Clint and Virginia Feick Burch. Ronald was a 1957 graduate of Belpre High School. He was a former deputy for the Washington County Sheriff's office, retired as Captain for the Belpre Police Department and was an interim Chief for the Belpre Police Department. He was a former member of the Belpre Volunteer Fire Department. Ronald was a member of Meadowview Church of Christ in Frazeysburg, where he served as deacon for many years and was lead singer for the Gospel Trio named, The Meadowview Larks. He was a former member of the Belpre Church of Christ. Ronald enjoyed woodworking and one of the many bird houses he made is in England.Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol Argabrite Burch, they were married April 2, 1972;his daughter, Sue (Brad) Dye of Dresden, Ohio; his four sons, James (Rebecca) Argabrite of South Point, Ohio, Jeffrey Burch of Columbus, Ohio, Russell (Carmen) Burch of Colorado, and Brian Burch of Phoenix, Arizona; his sister, Virginia “Ginger” Berry of Belpre; his twin brother, Donald (Rebecca) Burch of Belpre; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his niece, Ginger (Andrew) Moreland of Little Hocking, Ohio; and his nephew, Douglas Burch of Iowa. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Belpre Church of Christ with Evangelist Ron Laughery and Evangelist Sam Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.Memorial donations may be made to the Belpre Volunteer Fire Department in memory of Ronald.
