Roger L. Whited, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on December 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1940, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Norville L. and Vesta Litton Whited. Roger retired after 35 years service from Walker-Parkersburg. The home he built for his family on the 60-acre farm he and wife owned in Leachtown was a great source of pride for him. He and his wife raised their children on that farm and lived there for 35 years before moving back to Parkersburg. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. Jackson Whited; one daughter, Kristy Whited Champion of Vienna, W.Va.; one son, Kevin Whited and his wife, Patricia of Parkersburg; and one grandson, Calvin Michael Whited. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kelly Dawn Whited. At Roger's request, there will be no visitation or services and he will be cremated.
