Roger Allen Dragoo

Roger Allen Dragoo, 63, of Washington, WV, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2019 surrounded by his family after a courageous 13 month battle with cancer. He was born October 11, 1955 in Jackson County, WV, to the late James Melvin Dragoo survived by Cora Evelyn Mae Campbell Dragoo. Roger married his loving wife, Judith West Dragoo on May 17, 1977. He was a recent retiree from the WVDOH. Roger also served in the Army Reserves and was a proud Veteran. Roger was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed tractor and automotive repair, tinkering in his garage and spending time with his family. Roger is preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Dragoo. He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Angela and husband, Brian Husk, Diana Dragoo, James Dragoo and fiancé, Lisa, Ashley and husband, Josh Theobald; siblings, Sharon Clevenger, Larry Dragoo, Francis Shamblin and Barbara Penwell; grandchildren, Dyllan and Kyra Husk, Justice and Destiny Smith, Jeremy and Emily Dragoo and Ryley Plummer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery in Sandyville, WV. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers monetary donations would be greatly appreciated to assist with funeral expenses.
