Rodney Lee Snyder

Rodney Lee Snyder, 65, of Parkersburg, passed away August 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 14, 1952 in Parkersburg, the son of the late Frances and Betty Putnam Snyder and step-parent, Geneva Snyder. Rodney was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a former employee of Ideal Box Factory and Nashua Photo. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler and spending time with his grandsons who were the light of his life. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rhonda Smith Snyder; one daughter, Robin (Tony) Forshey of Parkersburg; one son, Ron (Jessica) Snyder of Parkersburg; sister, Doris Gillis; step-sisters, Alice Allman, Ellen “Allman” and Angie Acors; brother, Gary (Nancy) Snyder; grandchildren, Preston Forshey and Tavian and Corbin Snyder; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Allman. Funeral services for Rodney will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Bryan Knight officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
