Roberta Faith Farrar, 95, of Washington, W.Va., passed away on September 15, 2014 at The Willows Center.She was born March 10, 1919, in Jackson Co., W.Va., the daughter of the late Samuel M. and Lucy Burke Kittle.Roberta was a retired loan officer at Community Savings and Loan. She was formerly a member of Broadway Baptist Church and later attended Faith Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Judith D. (Bill) White of Parkersburg and Carolyn (Bill) Bock of Washington, W.Va.; one son, Robert J. (Sue) Farrar of Elkins, W.Va.; grandchildren, Susan (Phillip) O'Reilly, Neil (Christy) Farrar, John Farrar, Beth White, Kelly (David) Monk, Patricia (Thad) LaBarre, Carol (David) Waddell, Jeff (Alex) White, Chris (Stephanie) White, Doug (Cheryl) Bock, Leanne (David) Adams, and Mark Bock; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Farrar; one sister, Coral Jones; and three brothers, Ernest, Clair and Loren Kittle.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg.Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery in Jackson Co.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home.
