Robert D. Turnbull

Robert D. Turnbull, 86 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Dec. 10, 2014 at his residence.He was born March 14, 1928 in Parkersburg a son of the late Charles L. and Margaret Cathryn McClung Turnbull.He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked at GE as an Instrument Repair Technician. He was a member of Stephenson United Methodist Church, Cottageville Masonic Lodge No. 54,, the Jerusalem Chapter, Calvary Commandery, the Nemesis Shrine of Parkersburg and Eastern Star Chapter 14 of Parkersburg.Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Greenwalt Turnbull; son, Mark Turnbull of Lakeworth, Fla; and sister, Janet Devlin of Florida.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son Frank; and two brothers, Jim and Charles.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Dena Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
