Robert Lee Sprouse,

Bobby (Robert) Lee Sprouse, Sr. 64 of Petroleum, WV passed away January 9, 2011 at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.He was born October 23, 1946 in Petroleum, a son of the late Vernon and Cora Todd Sprouse. Bobby had previously worked in the oil fields for over 40 years and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and working on vehicles.Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Debbie Jean McClung Sprouse; three children, Naomi Ross (Larry) of Harrisville, Bobby Lee Sprouse, Jr. (Angie Simmons) of McFarland, WV, and Spring Virginia Riffle (Roger) of Petroleum; nine brothers and sisters, Willa, Alice, Betty, Pat, Bill, Kenny, Harold, Pete, and Leo; seven grandchildren, Adam and Josh Ross of Harrisville, Kayla Jean Sprouse and Brandon Davis II of Ellenboro, Davin and Travis Riffle of Petroleum and Hailey Ayers of McFarland; Father and mother-in-law, John and Naomi VanFossen of Petroleum; father-in-law, Glen McClung of McFarland; brother-in-law, Danny McClung (Brenda) and their son, Caleb; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and two pet dogs, Izzy and Gizzy.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Edward Sprouse; and twin grandchildren, Kale and Aiden Riffle.Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg with Pastor Randy VanFossen officiating. Interment will follow at the Skidmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
