Robert Edwin McCauley, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1947 in Parkersburg to the late Clarence E. and Frances A. Suck McCauley.
Robert was a member of the Church of Christ and an Eagle Scout. He was an avid caver, fisherman, and hunter. He loved to camp and being outdoors. He spent close to 40 years in the soft-drink industry.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carolyn Barton; son, Brian McCauley; daughter, Brenda Cook (Doug); step-daughter, Jessica Hinton (Jeff); siblings, Don McCauley (Susan) and Jean Calebaugh; grandchildren, Morgan Hinzman (Shane), Kayla Cook, Taylor Miragliotta, Matthew Miragliotta, and Vivian Hinton; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was loved by so many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Snider McCauley and a half-sister, Mary Rondello.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4 – 8 p.m., at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert’s honor to the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Robert’s final wishes and are honored to serve his family.
