Robert Eugene Kirby

Robert Eugene (Pappy) Kirby (94) of Mineral Wells, WV went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2022 at his residence. He was born on March 19, 1928 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ray and Amanda (Stanley) Kirby. He was a United States Amy Veteran and retired from O. Ames Company after 42 years. Robert is survived by his 8 children; Cathy Metz, Donna Sands, Sandra Gwynn, Robert James Kirby, Susan Holland, Bruce Kirby, Tina Kirby and Lisa Straight; sister, Reba Brett of Columbus, Ohio, 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Betty Jean Blosser Kirby; two brothers, Junior Dink Kirby and Arthur Pete Kirby. Visitation will be held 5-7 P.M. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg. Memorial Services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the funeral home.
