Robert Joseph Griffiths

Robert Joseph Griffiths, 66, of Vienna, passed away March 5, 2017, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born June 22, 1950 in Marietta, Ohio, the son of the late Richard A. and Garnet T. Tilton Griffiths. Robert retired from Aflac Insurance after twelve years, had been a Union President at Fenton, was a U.S. Navy Reservist and a Christian by faith. He is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Boston Griffiths; one daughter, Elizabeth Deem of Belpre, Ohio; one son, Troy Shaffer of Vienna; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard A. Griffiths. Services for Robert will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, WV. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery with Military Rites by the American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
