Robert Hugh Corathers, 61, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away on March 19, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.He was born on February 28, 1950, in Harrison County, WV, a son of Ruby “Bernice” Husk Corathers of Clarksburg, WV and the late Jacob “Hugh” Corathers.Robert was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and Fairmont State College.He worked for Clarksburg United Hospital Center as the Food Production Manager and retired as the Food Service Director at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.He loved cooking, gardening, yard work, painting and spending time with his family.He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Parkersburg.He is survived by his wife Pamela Allman Corathers; two daughters, Laura Elaine and Jennifer Suzanne Corathers both of Mineral Wells; seven sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Jones of Kalamazoo, Mich., Carole (Rance) Gould of Benton Harbor, Mich., Linda “Kay” Connor of Clarksburg, WV, Donna (Robin) Leasburg of Clarksburg, Debbie (Don) Herrod of Marshville, WV, Terri (John) Arbogast of Lumberport, WV, and April Suzanne Corathers of Clarksburg; two brothers, John Corathers of Reynoldsburg, WV and Thomas D. (Jennifer) Corathers of Clarksburg; father and mother-in-law, Maurice and Bertha Allman of Philippi, WV; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine (J.R.) Coulter of Philippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Welks.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, Juliana St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Damon Rhodes and Rev. Timothy Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Peterson Cemetery in Weston, WV. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St.Parkersburg, W.Va.
