Robert Lester Bibbee

Robert Lester Bibbee, 82 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away March 21, 2016 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born August 28,1933 in Parkersburg, W.Va. the son of the late Okey L. and Pearl M. Leisure Bibbee. Robert graduated from Parkersburg High School and graduated from Mountain State College. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from Verizon Communications and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Vienna. His first love was his late wife Charlotte and his family. His passion was raising and training his field trial beagles. He is survived by daughters, Pamela Cay Bibbee Lauderman (Greg) and Patricia Ann Bibbee both of Vienna; sons, Robert S. Bibbee (Barb) of Bellville, W.Va., Brian K. Bibbee (Debra) of Bunker Hill, W.Va. and Bradley J. Bibbee of Vienna; sister, Helen Wingrove of Vienna; grandchildren, Claire and Julie Lauderman, April Marks (Damon), Sarah, Evan, Morgan, Bradley, Jr., Nathan and Zachary Bibbee; eight great- grandchildren; step –granddaughter, Misty Snyder and two step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Jean Frye Bibbee; brothers, Willard and Eugene; and sister, Louise. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday 25, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor George Spansy officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
