Robert Dean Atkinson

Robert D. “Bobby” Atkinson Jr., 65, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away July 30, 2011, in Charleston, W.Va.He was born March 20, 1946, in Stuebenville, Ohio, a son of the late Robert D. Sr. and Esta Sellers Atkinson.Bobby owned and operated the 7th Street Secondhand Store and was a lover of race cars and auctions.Surviving is his wife, Ora Mae Atkinson; one daughter, Tina Mae Wofe (Jeff); three sons, Tony, Tim (Valerie) and Terry Atkinson, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister; two brothers; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
