Ricky Dean Starcher, 54, of Washington, W.Va., passed away on March 18, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center following an extended illness.He was born January 19, 1961, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Jess Willard and Ora Mae Ballengee Starcher.Ricky was employed as a chemical operator at Cytec and was a member of the Fire Brigade. He loved 60's music, all things Christmas, spending time with his loved ones and his three dogs.He is survived by his wife, Ula “Julie” Crites Starcher; one daughter, Jessica Starcher of Parkersburg; one son, Matthew (Kimberly) Starcher of Parkersburg; three sisters, Jean Smith of Illinois, Sharon “Sue” Starcher of Vienna, W.Va. and Sandy (Herbie) Sims of Parkersburg; one brother, Harley “Hank” (Linda) Starcher of Parkersburg; nieces, Nickoletta “Nicki” Starcher, Sarah Longacre, Lauren Smith, Morgan Smith and Maddy Smith; and nephews, Ronnie (Sandy) Smith, Jason (Jen) Smith and Jim Smith, Seth (Jill) Sims and Tyler Sims, Nick Smith and Carter Sims.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Bob Smith.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
