Rickey C. Miller

Rickey C. Miller, 65 of Parkersburg went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 5, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1951 in New Martinsville, W.Va., a son of the late Ruby Mae Barker. He was a truck driver and a member of the NRA. He was a Dodge truck man and a gun and knife enthusiast. Rickey loved helping people of all ages and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of nine years, Mary J. Barker Miller; four daughters, Diane (Dwight) Jones, Stephanie (Mike) Sprouse and Gladys (Jerry) Dennis all of Parkersburg and Jennifer Simmons and boyfriend, Roel Orduna of Houston, TX; two sons, David Miller of Parkersburg and Steven (Carrie) Simmons of Latonia, KY; three sisters, Loretta Mays, Linda Dockerman and Patsy Stroud all of Parkersburg; three brothers, Richard Miller, Darrell Miller and Danny Miller all of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy, Roy, Floyd and Ronald Miller. Funeral services will be Noon Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Barker-Ayers Cemetery in Smithville, W.Va., Ritchie County. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
