Richard W. “Bubba” Hall, 59, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1959, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Loyd E. and Grace W. Winans Hall. Rick was a 1978 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He had worked at O’Ames Company for ten half years at both plants one and two and was retired from the Parkersburg Utility Board after ten half years of service. Rick enjoyed hunting, going to the mountains, fishing at the family camp at Bergoo, WV and spending time in the outdoors with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Rick will be greatly missed by his wife of 36 years, Wanda Hoalcraft Hall; three daughters, Denise Workman (Shane) of Mineral Wells, Jaime Kerby (Kenny) and Caitlin Shears (Dustin) both of Elizabeth, WV; brother, Charles E. “Chuck” Hall of Mineral Wells; sister, Kim Santee (Howard) of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Ethan Hall, Justin Hall, Allie Kerby, Abbie Kerby, Brent Shears, Tyler Kerby and Boone Wayne Shears; one step-grandson, Jacob Workman; father in-law, Rufus Hoalcraft (Nancy) of Mineral Wells; brothers and sister in-law, Rufus Hoalcraft Jr. (Tammy) and Joyce Hoalcraft (Joe) both of Parkersburg, Victor Hoalcraft (Rachel) of Fairborn, OH; and numerous family and special friends. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by an infant brother and his mother in-law, Jean Hoalcraft. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Reverend Rufus Hoalcraft officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4 at the funeral home.
