Richard Ayers

Richard “Rick” Ayers 70, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away November 18, 2014 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, W.Va.He was born March 9, 1944 in Wood County, W.Va., the son of the late John Douglas and Beatrice Pennybacker Ayers.Rick was a home builder/contractor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.He is survived by his wife, Sherry Diane Ayers; three daughters, Kami Lake Astorg (Paul) of Vienna, W.Va., Susan Bartholow of Raleigh, NC. and Tanya Monroe (Gordy) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, Robert Ayers (Kim) of Vienna; one sister, Penny Mollendick of Vienna; one brother, Steve Ayers (Caroline) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Rick and Megan Ayers, Seve, Tyler, Cale and Cameron Astorg, Reed and Lauren Gonzalez, Ann Archer, Brooke Poling and Randall Arbogast and six great-grandchildren.Visitation for Rick will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va.
