Reta Mae Fridley, 88, of Little Hocking, passed away at home with her family by her side, Sunday, September 21, 2025. She was born January 26, 1937 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Dallas and Ester Rea.

Reta was a homemaker and a member of Belpre Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to church and seeing her friends, Betty Pfalzgraf, JoAnn Wilson, and many more. Reta always enjoyed going to Hardees with Paul for a biscuit and coffee. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren and grandchildren, Jessica was like a daughter to her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lois Giffin (Wayne) of Little Hocking; son, Carl Fridley; siblings, Linda Lynch (Don), Sue McFarland, Mary Lamp, and Gary Rea (Linda); grandchildren, Jessica Arnold (Jonathan), Kristen Fridley, Stephanie Fridley, and Cindy Fridley; great-grandchildren, Emilie, Reid, and Asher; her Hardees friends and members and her church family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her loving husband, Paul Fridley; sister, Dolores Kemp; brother, Wilber Rea; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Mae Arnold, Fallon Fridley, and Rhea Glover.

Per Reta’s request, there will be no visitation or service.

Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
