Raymond C. Salser

Raymond C. Salser, 84, of Washington WV, passed away August 20, 2021, at his residence. He was born January 2, 1937 in Ravenswood, WV.A son of the late Arthur and Virginia Statts Delong. He retired from the O’Ames Company in Parkersburg and enjoyed bowling and his dogs. He is survived by his sister, Betty Cottrell (Mike) of Maryland; three grandchildren, Christy (Stephen) Boone of Parkersburg, Roger Salser of Parkersburg and Mike Salser of Washington WV; Four Great-Grandchildren, Tristan (Alexis), Emsley, Elodie,Everlee and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Irene Salser; two sons, Raymond Lee Salser and Roger D. Salser; one brother, Homer Salser; one sister, Juanita Covard and an aunt Gladys Melrose. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Travis James officiating and entombment will follow. Visitation for Raymond will be 4-8 P.M. Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, WV.
