Raymond Lambert Ruble Jr, 74, of Parkersburg, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born July 31, 1945, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Raymond L. Ruble Sr. and Pauline Rake Ruble. Raymond was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict. Raymond previously retired from Simmons Auto Sales and currently working for G4S of St. Mary’s Refinery as a security guard. He was a member of the V.F.W, the American Legion Post and a member of the Boaz Baptist Church. Raymond enjoyed fishing and working on his antique car. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Doris Elliott Ruble; his children, Michael Ruble of Mississippi, Brett Ruble of Mississippi, Heather Ruble Macon of Alabama, James Elliott (Gretchen) of Texas and Tammy Gaston (Buddy) of Parkersburg; brother, Paul Ruble (Marilyn) of Parkersburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jason and Joey Gaston. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Robert Alfred officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with full military rites by American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
