Raymond L. Lemley

Raymond L. Lemley, 84, of Walker, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born July 22, 1932, in Wirt County, WV, a son of the late George and Malinda Byrd Lemley. Raymond was a retired farmer and was an oil well worker. He enjoyed planting his garden every year. He is survived by his five sisters, Sylvia Bunner of Wooster, Ohio, Florence Nelson of Elizabeth, WV, Laura Gibson of East Canton, Ohio, Ethel White of Walker, WV and Clara Blankenship of Belington, WV; one brother, Bernard Lemley Jr. and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert and Clyde Lemley; and one sister, Elsie Lemlely. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Janet Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Freeport Cemetery, Wirt County, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
