Ray Fredrick Perry of Parkersburg, WV at the age of 80, passed in peace at his home to be with the Lord following an extended illness on December 13, 2017. Ray was born on April 17, 1937, in Glenhayes, WV, the son of the late Homer and Hester (Meade) Perry. He was a member of the Little Tavie Old Regular Baptist Church. He cherished his caring loving wife and family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Mary Belle (Case) Perry; his son, Bobby (Mary Ann) Perry of Marietta, Ohio; his grandson, Shannon (Malissa) Perry of Belpre, Ohio; his granddaughter, Melissa (Jamie) Doan of Lowell, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Caleigh Doan, Dana Perry, and Clayton Perry; two brothers, Clifford (Karen) Perry of Medina, Ohio and Carl Perry of Davisville, WV; sister, Ann Thornsbury of Fort Gay, WV; and a host of family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care, neighbors, friends and family for their assistance, support, love and prayers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna. The service will be officiated by Elders of the church, Sam Fry, Chester Cockran, and Leonard Napier. Burial will follow at Rainbow Cemetery, Lowell, Ohio. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. A reception at their home will follow the burial.
