Randy Joe Durnell

Randy Joe Durnell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the age of 66 after a four year battle with cancer. Randy was born in Parkersburg, August 3, 1958 to parents, Gerald and Margie Durnell. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Durnell.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Margie Ann Durnell; aunt, Eleanor Sprouse; siblings, Debra Walters (Bill) of Charleston, Marcia Durnell of Parkersburg and William (Billy) Durnell of West Virginia.
Randy is also survived by his best friend and lifelong companion of over 40 years, Michele (Mickie) Washington. Thank you Mickie for everything you have done over the years for both Randy and our mother Margie; his feline companion, Cole, who stayed right by his side to the end. Thank you also to nurse Dena of House Calls for her help and compassion.
Randy was employed at Kelly Paving in Parkersburg for over 35 years, retiring in 2019. Randy loved the WVU Mountaineers, especially football and Basketball. He was also a Pittsburgh fan of both the Steelers and the Pirates. He also enjoyed a fun round of putt putt golf.
In respect of Randy’s wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
