Randall Clair Whited, 57, of Vienna, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Camden Clark Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 20, 1961, to the late Homer Clair and Armeda Enoch Whited. He grew up in Vienna and graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1979. Along with hunting and fishing, Randy especially enjoyed family gatherings, where he would entertain his audience with countless stories, jokes, and shenanigans that would have them rolling with laughter. As many have said about him, “he was truly the life of the party”. He is survived by his fiancé, Helen M. McCray of Vienna; daughter, Beth Whited of Clayton, NC; son, Matthew (Laura) of Gallipolis, OH; brothers, Jerry (Pat) of Havre de Grace,MD; David (Darelene) of Lubeck; Richard (Sue) of Washington, WV; sisters, Mila Combs (Dave) of Washington, WV; Jean Goodwin (Carl) of Vienna; Priscilla Yocum (Larry) of Vienna; grandsons, Noah and Ashton Alford of VA; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Jay Balser and Chris Lott, both of Parkersburg and beloved fur babies, Max, Kylie, Willow and Elsa. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his step-mother, Vivian Spencer Whited; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Carl King and nephew, Bryan Whited. Funeral services for Randy will be 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 9, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, with Pastors Mark Dennis and John Lowther officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
