Randall T. Harper

Randall T. “Randy” Harper, 65, of Cutler, Ohio passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with leukemia.He was born, Oct. 12, 1945 in Clarksburg, W.Va., a son of the late Millard E. and Betty L. Thomas Harper.Randy had served in the National Guard 1092 Engineering Division and was a retired truck driver from Yellow Freight Systems with 27 years of service.During his retirement he operated a small dump truck service, enjoyed farming and socializing with his neighbors.He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 175 and attended Fellowship Chapel Church in Little Hocking, Ohio.Randy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carol Sue Fisher Harper; a son, Eric D. Harper of Miamisburg, Ohio; a daughter, Traci L. Harper of Cutler, Ohio; a brother, Bradley W. Harper and his wife, Nora, of Belpre, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre with Pastor Janice Kuhn officiating.Interment will follow at Reed-Fairview Memory Gardens, Belpre.The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
