Date and Time of Service: Saturday, August 21, 2010, 11:00 A.M. – Belpreposted 8/19/2010 at 2:23:25 PMRalph Delbert Kinney, 83, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away at the Arcadia Nursing Center in Coolville, Ohio, August 18, 2010.He was born March 12, 1927, in West Union, West Virginia, a son of the late Clyde Kinney and Faye Miller Kinney.Ralph was a graduate of Doddridge County High School; he was a WW II Veteran of the U.S. Army and reenlisted with the Navy Seabees. He was a HAM Radio Operator, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, the outdoors and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ralph retired from Montgomery Wards in Albany, New York in 1992 with almost 50 years of service.He is survived by his wife, Ruby Sebastian Kinney; a son, Roger Dean Kinney of Columbus, Ohio; two step-sons, David Traylor of West Union, Ohio and Christopher Brundige of Dover, Ohio; three step-daughters, Jackie Spence of Belpre, Pamela Damis of Coolville, Ohio and Cathy Bennett of Fleming, Ohio; one brother, Clyde Jr. Kinney, of Salem, West Virginia; twelve grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Carder Kinney; one brother, Ronnie Kinney; and one sister, JoAnn Jenkins.Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 21, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Belpre with the Pastor Jim Lynch officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 15. Burial will follow in Big Isaac Cemetery in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
