Ralph V. Barker

Ralph V. Barker, 69, of Davisville went home to be with the Lord following a brief illness on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from his residence. He was born September 10, 1950 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Cecil and Opal George Barker. Ralph is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Kay Bibb Barker; five sons, Robert Barker, Sr. (Becky) of Vienna, Richard Barker (Jennifer) of Walker, Sean Morton (JoAnn) of Cincinnati, Bret Morton (Dena) of Marietta and Chris Morton (Carla) of Parkersburg; two sisters, Shirley Martin of Parkersburg and Naomi Messer of Panama City, FL; a brother, Roger Barker (Patsy) of Walker; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg with Pastor Bud Corbin officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Monday.
