Priscilla Kay Sands

Priscilla Kay Sands 72, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away January 30, 2015 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.She was born September 1, 1942 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Clegg Sams.Priscilla was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a homemaker. She was an avid Bowler and a Youth Bowling Coach at Emerson Lanes for over 30 years. She was also a member of the 36th St. Church of Christ.She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Sands (Alberta) of Vienna, w.Va. and Brian Sands (Wendy) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Larry Sams (Carolyn) of West Union, W.Va,; five grandchildren, Whitney (Wes) Hall, Tyler, Kylie, Brandon and Mariah.In addition to her parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sands who passed away in July of 2010; five brothers, Donald, Robert, Kenneth, Harry and William Sams; and four sisters, Lucille McKenzie, Mable Vannoy, Wilma Wharton and Janet Nichols.Funeral services for Priscilla will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va., with EvangelistMark Mason and Tom Butterfield officiating. Burial will follow the service at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home .
