Phyllis Jean Bleigh

Phyllis Jean Bleigh, 82, of Parkersburg, passed away August 17, 2019, at Camden Clark Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born February 15, 1937 in White Pine, Calhoun County, WV, daughter of the late Clondell Ferrell Porreca and step-father, Joe Porreca. She loved bingo, crocheting, flower gardening, animals, and spending time with family and friends. She had previously been a member of the American Legion and was a proud wife of a Navy Veteran. Phyllis is survived by her children, Randy Bleigh (Pam) of Denton, TX, Wilbert Wayne Bleigh of Parkersburg, Janna Valentine (Mike) of Harrisville, WV, and Julie Windland of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Ryan Windland, Sadie Windland, Emily Melrose, Hannah Windland Haddad, Zachary Windland, and Shane Windland; great-grandchildren, Luke Modesitt, Sydney, Annalynn and Luke Windland, Jason and Charlee Windland and Lakin Haddad; and several cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Bleigh, Jr.; son-in-law, Robert “Danny” Windland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St. with Pastor Bill Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
