Pete C. Rogers 75, of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away January 3, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va..He was born June 17, 1937, in Vermont, a son of the late Dr. Watson Frank Rogers and Marguerite Mortimer Rogers.Pete is survived by one sister, “Bo” Sybil A. Rogers of Vienna, W.Va.; four brothers, Dr. Lee Frank Rogers (Donna) of Tuscon, Arizona, David Rogers (Janet) of Belleville, W.Va., Frank Matthew Rogers (Huong) of Manassas, Va. and Joseph Daniel Rogers (Linda) of Unityville, Pa. Several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 51 years, Joyce Ann Hannaman Rogers who passed in June of 2012.He was a Landscaper and owned his own landscape business. Pete was also a member of the U.S. Army. Pete enjoyed whittling, carving, painting folk art, and pursued whatever he wanted. He had a W.V.U. Masters degree of Horticulture and was a former County Agent in Randolph County, W.Va.Funeral Service will be3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
