Peggy Ann Sirk

Peggy Raines Sirk, 85 of St. Marys, W.Va. passed away Dec. 29, 2016 at Carehaven of Pleasants County in Belmont W.Va. She was born March 8, 1931 in Cumberland, MD daughter of the late William H. and Janet V. Dunn Raines. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Purgitsville, W.Va. Peggy is survived by a daughter, Lisa Bloomer (Curtis) of St. Marys; two sons, Robert A. Sirk II of Clarksville, TN and Dennis K. Sirk of St. Marys; a sister, Nancy Barnette of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; a brother, William “Buzzy” Raines (Carolyn) of Cumberland; and five grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, and Emily Berry and Jedidiah and Cody Sirk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Sirk; and two sisters, Helen Shay and Pearl Donnley. At Peggy's request there will be no visitation or services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
