Peggy Joan Banks Gordon

Peggy Banks Gordon, 70, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away November 20, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born in Elkton, Va. on March 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Etta Griggs Banks. She retired from the Bureau Of Public Debt in 2008 and was a member of From The Heart Church Ministries of Belpre, Ohio.Peggy is survived by her husband, William Gordon; two daughters, Erika and her husband, Gregory Smith of Silver Spring, Md., and Crystal Gordon of Pittsburg, Pa.; one son, William R. Gordon, Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three brothers, Clinton F. Banks and his wife, Beulah of Palmyra, NJ., E. Cornell Banks of Harrisonburg, Va., and Garfield E. Banks and his wife, Edith of Elkton, Va.; also a number of nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her mother and three sisters.A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., at From The Heart Church Ministries, 1226 Putman-Howe Drive, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Clarence P.
