Pauline Francis Niday, 79, of Walker passed away January 8, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1942 in Weston, WV daughter of the late Claude and Leona Radcliff Metz. Pauline had worked at Weston State Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg. She enjoyed spending time with her husband of 48 years, family and grandkids. She was a member of Pioneer Antique Auto Club and enjoyed reading. Pauline was survived by her husband, Gary Allan Niday who recently passed away. She is also survived by children, Donnie Wilt of Washington, WV, Mark Wilt (Tina) of Vienna, Kimberly Gum (David) of Camden, WV, Michael Niday (Belinda) of Walker and Sherry Stottlemyer of South Charleston, WV; a sister-in-law, Elsie Metz of Weston, WV; grandchildren, Ryan Wilt (Michelle), Renee Dotson, Jesse McRobert (Eric), Ashly Collins (Robby), Anna Wilt, Abby Wilt, Morgan Gray (Jake), Kasey Lattea, Preston Gum, Alison Stottlemyer, Kurt Stottlemyer and Stephanie Lewis (Scott); seventeen great-grandchildren; special friends, Tarra Cullen, Teresa Williams; a close cousin, Dorothy Butcher; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Metz and Bernard Metz; and her best friend, her dog, Oscar. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday January 14, 2022 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew, WV. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
