G. Pauline Johnson, 82, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on Feb. 13, 2011. She had been a resident at Ohio Valley Health Care for the last two years.Pauline was born May 8, 1928, the eldest daughter of the late Paul Samuel and Goldie (Cheshire) McAtee.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Burl Johnson in 2001; and three sisters, Betty Kigar, Helen Hall and Mary Tice.Pauline leaves behind three brothers, Raymond McAtee of Gulfport, Miss., William McAtee of Virginia Beach, Va., and Samuel (Brenda) McAtee of Greer, S.C.; one sister, Patricia (Gene) Simmer of Newark, W.Va.; two sons, Roger (Martha) Johnson of Parkersburg and Steven (Angie) Johnson of Parkersburg; one daughter, Linda (Bryan) Bush of Walker, W.Va.; two grandsons, Patrick Johnson and Bradley Newlon; four granddaughters, Nancy (Ben) Redin, Peggy (Evan) Shultz, Kelly McGill and Stephanie Johnson; five great-grandsons, Brandon (Mia) Redin, Nathan Redin, Austin Newlon, Cody Newlon and Levi Johnson; five great- granddaughters, Arianna Mercer, Cassandra Mercer, Hailey Johnson, Kyla Johnson and Elaina Johnson; and 22 nephews and nieces.Pauline devoted her life to her family and Christian faith. She was a Sunday school teacher for the children classes starting at age 18 at the Old Summit Valley Church until age 76 at Cedar Grove Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and camping.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with the Rev. David Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
