Pauline Kathryn Douglass, 84, of Parkersburg, W.Va. formerly of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away on January 27, 2012 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.She was born October 10, 1927, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude West Smittle. Pauline retired from Colin Anderson Center as a registered nurse and was a Presbyterian by faith.She is survived by two daughters, Jonette Douglass Walter (Ted) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Joanne Douglass Reynolds (Frank) of Vienna, W.Va.; a daughter-in-law, R. Joyce Douglass of Naples, Florida, two granddaughters, Kate Quinn (Michael) of Leesburg, VA and Kerri Fowler (Jay) of Melbourne, FL; two great-grandsons, Jacob and Jay Fowler of Melbourne, FL; two sisters, Sara Bogard of East Liverpool, OH and Mary Goertler (Erwin) of Williamstown, W.Va.; one brother, John Smittle (Sue) of Vienna, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Charles Douglass, Jr.; and one son, Stephen Charles Douglass III.Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Rev. Dr. Patrick Kerr officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
