Paul D. Mccauley

Paul D. McCauley, 77, of Parkersburg. W.Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 28, 2015.He was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Wirt County, W.Va., a son of the late J. H. and Louise Davis Butler.Paul formerly worked at Corning Glass and retired as a Lieutenant from the Vienna Police Department with over 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and a member of the National Fraternal Order of Police. He was an aircraft pilot and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He was a member of the Downtown Bethel Church. Paul and his wife Sue traveled the country in their RV.He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Cutlip of Parkersburg; one son, Steven D. McCauley of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Carmen Cutlip and Collin Cutlip, both of Parkersburg; and two sisters, Bonita Butler Mitchell of Trinity, Ala. and Bobbie Jean Butler Perkins of Springville, Ala.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Robinson McCauley.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel with Pastor Janet Richards officiating.Military Honors will be conducted by the Marine Corps League. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Thursday at the Chapel. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
