Patty W. Sands Anderson

Patty W. Sands Anderson, 91, of Belpre, OH passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence Friday, September 12, 2025.

Daughter of the late Earl Albert and Artie Olive Sands, Patty was born January 14, 1934 in Summit, West Virginia. Patty married her loving husband H. Rex Anderson and shared 68 years of marriage, building a life together for their four children. Patty was a Christian, having attended Landmark Baptist Church after accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 76 on February 14, 2010 and publicly professing her faith through baptism on April 4, 2010. She enjoyed serving others, having worked as a CNA at Camden Clark Medical Center, as well as working at JoAnn Fabrics for some time. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and baking in her free time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and three sisters.

Patty is survived by her son, H. Rex Anderson Jr. (Donna) of St. Marys, WV; three daughters, Susan Slider (Rick) of Marietta, OH, Deborah Davis (Mike) of Belpre, OH and Anita Wallace (Todd) of Belpre, OH; sister-in-law, Josephine Wherry; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
