Patricia Louise Yost

Patricia L. Yost, 82, of Mineral Wells, passed away June 25, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born August 4, 1941 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Charles R. and Ethel F. Moore Clegg.

She retired from Camden Clark Medical Center where she was a nursing assistant. She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards and games on her iPad, and spending time with family. She was a member of the Mineral Wells Church of Christ where she was active in the women’s group.

She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Dotson of Coolville, OH.; two sons, Paul Stoneking Jr. of Parkersburg and Brian Stoneking (Tammy) of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, Haley, Jessica, Deanna, Dannette, Brian, Amanda, Megan, and Barbie; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Elmyra, Lila, Sophie, Lelia, Nya, Luca, Sofie, Brock, Gwynn, Stella, Ally, Jaxon, and Johnny.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Yost; an infant son, David W. Stoneking; an infant granddaughter, Michelle Dotson; three brothers, Butch, Ed, and Bill West; a sister-in-law, Virginia Clegg; a daughter-in-law, Carla Stoneking; and a son-in-law, John Dotson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Evangelist Larry Wigal officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
