Patricia Ann “Patty” Tanner, 58, of Williamstown, W.Va., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.She was born February 22, 1953, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lewis and Geraldine Boggs Gibson.Patty was a 1971 graduate of Belpre High School and was a graduate of Manpower Training Center in Jackson, Ohio. She retired from Kraton as a buyer with 35 years of service.She followed her boys with scouting (both became Eagle Scouts) and their pursuit of music and dance. She enjoyed boating, riding the four-wheeler and watching deer and other animals at her residence.She is survived by her husband, David Page Tanner; two sons, Jason D. Tanner of Williamstown, W.Va. and Fireman Jeremy S. Tanner, U.S. Navy, stationed in Charleston, South Carolina; one brother, James S. Gibson and wife, Mindy, of Belpre, Ohio; one sister, Barbara J. Holcomb and husband, Donald (Jr.), of Belpre, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Daniel S. Tanner and wife, Moni, of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews; and special greeters at the Tanner Farm, Sparky, Ginger, Toby and Rex.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Charles (Ab) and Ruth Tanner.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Jim Condrey officiating.Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
