Patricia Burnell Phillips

Patricia Burnell Phillips, 78, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away September 2, 2015, at Wyngate Senior Living in Parkersburg.She was born December 13,1936 in Pt. Pleasant, W.Va., the daughter of the late John T. and Eleanor F. Bruestle Burnell.Pat graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1954 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Parkersburg. She enjoyed playing bridge and was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan.She is survived by one daughter; Jenny Phillips (Mark Workman) of Weston, W.Va., two sons; J.B. Phillips (Lynn) of St. Marys, W.Va. and Mike Phillips (Barb) of Bel Air, Maryland; one brother, Tom Burnell of Bridgeport, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Amie Phillips-Pablo (Greg), Drew Phillips, Ali Hamrick (Anthony), Reid Phillips, Chase Phillips, Emily Phillips; and three great-grandchildren.Memorial service for Pat will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church in Parkersburg with Rev. Michael Seely officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made in Pat's name to Founders Trust Fund, c/o First Presbyterian Church, 1341 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
