Patricia Kay Paintiff, 66, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away July 9, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Raymond Somerville and Lois Bush Carpenter.Patricia was a graduate of Parkersburg Beauty College and Pleasants County Tech Center Welding School. She had been employed at Nashua Photo and Randy's Used Cars. She loved sewing and gardening. She was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church.She is survived by her companion of 26 years, Randy Goodwin; three daughters, Loretta Ferguson (Mitchell) and Diedra Burdette (Lovie), both of Parkersburg and Shelley Mathers (Adam) of Alexandria, Va.; son, Stephen Goodwin (Stephanie) of Williamstown, W.Va.; five sisters, Marie Newberry (Keith) of Chesapeake, Va., Carol Ratliff (Rick) of Jane Lew, W.Va., Connie Tooker, Brenda Ball (Bill) and Kathy Nutter, all of Parkersburg; one brother, Gary Somerville (Janie) of Williamstown, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Katrina Kirkpatrick, Thomas Burdette, Rickie Miller, Brianna Miller, Lindsie Goodwin, Maddie Mathers, Heather Miller, Sarah Fouss, and Samantha Ferguson; two great-grandchildren, Sophie Burdette and Barrett Kirkpatrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Wells; and her second husband, Michael Paintiff.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. South Parkersburg with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
