Pamela Sue Potts

Pamela Sue Potts, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away October 7, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born in New Martinsville, WV. on December 20, 1947, a daughter, to the late Wayne W. and Pauline Wilt Rawe.

After completing her education from Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, WV, she was a homemaker. She attended Redeemer Church in Parkersburg. She loved volunteering her time, especially with the children’s programs. She enjoyed doing yard work, watching movies, puppetry, and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s many activities.

Pamela is survived by two sons, James Potts II of Parkersburg and Jason Potts (Kathryn) of Vienna; three sisters, Sally Shreeve (Stanley) of New Martinsville, Paula Polosky (John) of Wheeling, and Lisa Toman (Michael) of Canton, OH.; five grandchildren, Kylee Potts, James W. “Trey” Potts III(Bree), Gregory Potts (Allison), Samuel Potts, and Naomi Potts; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Potts I; a daughter, Jacqueline A. Potts; an infant brother; and a sister, Carole Cline.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
