Ottie Darrell Casto

Ottie Darrell Casto, 96, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away July 4, 2014 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home.He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, February 23, 1918 a son of the late Boyd and Ivy Doughty Casto.During WWII he served his country for the U.S. Governments program farming for (food for the US troops.) He retired from the United Dairy Services in Coshocton, Ohio after 36 years of service and was a member of the United Dairy Workers Union.After retirement, he and his wife Flota spent their time traveling and their winters in Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Flota Tolley Casto and one brother, Basil O. Caso.He leaves behind one daughter, Delores Myers and her husband, Paul E. Myers; three grandsons, Michael, Timothy, and Gregory; and two great-granddaughters, Caitlyn Marie and Brooke Elizabeth Marie. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Sinaiville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jackson County, West Virginia. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, WV.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
