Otho Douglas Vanmeter

Otho Douglas VanMeter, 69, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on April 28, 2014 at his residence.He was born November 2, 1944, in Belpre, a son of the late Otho and Mary Stevens VanMeter.Otho was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed at Union Carbide and AEP Barge Service.He is survived by his son, Todd VanMeter of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Cody, Tyler, Tavish, Brylee and Brenar; five great-grandchildren, Gage, Lily, Maddie, Presley and Jenna; a special friend, Roseen; and an uncle, Dude Stevens of Belpre.There will be no services or visitation. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. is assisting the family with arrangements.
