Ota Nell Vincent, 86, of Delphos Ohio, formerly of Coolville passed away March 17, 2018 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio, surrounded by family. She was born January 7, 1932 in Sharpe County, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Burl (Cline) Galland. Ota was a 1950 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom to two sons and a loving grandmother to four grandchildren who adored her. She loved spending time with her grandkids, gardening, collecting squirrel memorabilia and playing bingo at the local nursing home in Coolville. On June 16, 1950, she married Clarence E Vincent, the love of her life, who passed away June 28, 2009. She is survived by her sons Joe of Grove City, Ohio and Jim (Pam) of Delphos, Ohio; along with grandchildren; Aimee (John) DeCapua, Doug Vincent, Abbi Vincent and Mitch (Pam) Vincent and great-grandchildren; Derrick Vincent, Jaden Vincent, and Mia, Luke and Max Vincent. Ota is also survived by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Susie Vincent, 5 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Belpre, Ohio will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Following services, she will be laid to rest beside her husband of 59 years in Torch, Ohio. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America – Allohok Council, 1340 Juliana Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
