Orlen Paul Roberts

Orlen Paul Roberts, 86, of Vienna, passed away April 22, 2019 at the Arbors of Pomeroy Nursing Home. He was born April 15, 1933 in Burning Springs, WV, the son of the late Lewis and Pearl Reed Roberts Nelson. Orlen was a veteran of the US. Army and enjoyed carpentry, hunting and fishing. He was employed by the Ames Plant #2 as a laborer. Orlen was always willing to help others and loved spending time with his family, especially his great-grandsons. He was a member of the Riverside Methodist Church of Williamstown. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Lee Roberts; one son, Paul Roberts of Parkersburg and one daughter, Brenda Kay Roberts of Vienna; one granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Arnold Phillips (Craig) of Parkersburg; four great-grandsons, Cooper, Corbin, Camden and Cohen Phillips, plus several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Roberts. Funeral services for Orlen will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna with G.K.Pennington officiating. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 to time for the service at 1:00 P.M.
