Ora Playford Weekley

Ora Playford “OP” Weekley 82, of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away April 25, 2016 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born April 5, 1934 in Riggins Run, Doddridge County, W.Va., the son of the late Ora P. and Dora Seese Weekley. Ora was an U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Krogers after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and computers. Ora was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma J. Sanders Weekley; one daughter, Linda Poff (Allan) of Vienna, W.Va.; and a sister-in-law, Skosh Weekley of Colorado. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Denver, Gene and Rendal Weekley and one sister, Irmalee Corder. Funeral services for Ora will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Chad Mugrage officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown with full Masonic Rites. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
