Omer Gene Sullivan

Omer G. Sullivan, 86, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on August 8, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1929, in Jackson County, W.Va., a son of the late Walter and Arizona Holbert Sullivan. Omer retired from B.F. Goodrich after seventeen years working in production. He enjoyed gospel music, camping, NASCAR and football. Omer also attended the Vienna Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Lyons Sullivan; two sons, Robert Sullivan and Roger Sullivan of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and daughter in-law, Carol Sullivan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Brian Keith and Steven Sullivan, three brothers, Wilbur, James and Russell Sullivan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am.on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Wesley Vernatter officiating. Burial will follow at Grafton National Cemetery, Grafton, WV. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm. Wednesday at the funeral home.
