Oliver Franklin Daugherty

Oliver Franklin Daugherty, 78, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on January 11, 2015 at Worthington Nursing and Rehab Center.He was born June 3, 1936, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Oliver and Goldie Daugherty.Franklin worked on farms all of his life. He attended different churches throughout his life. He loved reading his Bible, when he was able. He was a good Christian.He is survived by two brothers, Earl (Freda) Daugherty of Parkersburg, and Bill (Charlene) Daugherty of Whipple, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Belle Daugherty of Parkersburg, and Wanda (David) Barr of Washington, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Daugherty; and three sisters, Macel Dawson, Naomi Gilmore and Doris Parker.There will be no visitation or services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg will be assisting the family with arrangements.
