Olan Bruce Jackson 65, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 10, 2016 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio. He was born July 25, 1950 in Wood Count, W.Va. the son of Anna L. Seals Jackson and the late Alton P. Jackson. Olan was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from O'Ames as a Tool & Die Maker, and enjoyed woodworking, and antique cars. He was Methodist by faith and a member of the Pioneer Antique Car Club and The Rollin Oldies Car Club. Olan is survived by his mother, Anna L. Jackson of Parkersburg; daughter, Jenny N. Jackson and son, Michael B. Jackson of Ocala, Florida; sister, Linda M. Caplinger; two brothers, Thomas E. Jackson (Patty) and Darrell A. Jackson all of Parkersburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a daughter, Michellea A. Jackson. The family would like to thank Tom & Carol Wriston and Ralph & Sharon Barker for their loving friendship. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va., with Reverend Ted Osgood officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude, Childrens Hospital in Olan's name.
